3 July 2018, the President of the Assembly, Eugene Romanenko and Executive Director of the Assembly Irina Chaplay took part in the International scientific-practical conference “Judicial-expert activity in Ukraine and Poland: experience, perspectives of development and cooperation”, which was conducted by the research center of judicial examination on questions intellectual property, Ministry of justice (hereinafter – NCCSE on intellectual property).
Representatives of state authorities, local self-government, Central Executive authorities, scientists, experts, representatives of public organizations took part in the communication event.
The conference was devoted to the discussion of the state, challenges and prospects of further development of forensic institutions in Ukraine and Poland in the realities of today
The topicality of the conference theme is determined by the public significance of its problematic issues.
This discussion platform was primarily a tool aimed at substantiating the priority areas for the development of reliable mechanisms to guarantee the independence of judicial experts and strengthen their social protection in both neighboring States.
During the scientific and communication event, the participants discussed the current state and prospects of development of forensic expertise in Ukraine and forensic activities in Poland (on the example of the Institute of forensic examinations. Jana Sekhna in Krakow, Ministry of justice of Poland).
The report of Vladislav Fedorenko – Director of the NDC on intellectual property was devoted to new institutional forms, mechanisms, methods of cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the field of forensic examination. The scientist paid special attention to the improvement of personnel support, namely: the growth of the number of trained experts, training of employees in the field of forensic science-intensive products and high technologies.
The participants of the event also raised the issue of the absence of a system of indicators or a single indicator based on the legal content, which would clearly and comprehensively indicate the level of uniqueness of scientific works. The discussion during the conference contributed to the fruitful work and deeper disclosure of the topical issues of the world methodology and culture of scientific work, its local features.
