Assembly President – Yevhen Aleksandrovych Romanenko and scientific secretary – Iryna Vitalievna Chaplay took part in the annual All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference with international participation “The development of professional competencies of civil servants: communicative aspect”, that held in November 3, 2016 in the National Academy of Public Administration Ukraine.
Within the conference, discussion panels on topics were held:
1. Communicative component of the public policy.
2. Communication aspects of legal regulation of public management and administration.
3. Communicative competence of civil servants in the context of strategic management and administration.

Effective communication in the regulation of economic development.
5. Features communications in the formation and implementation of personnel policies.
6. Communication tools of national security.

Language communication in the professional work of public managers.
The participants stressed the importance of self-regulation of the media (hereinafter – the media), that correspond before citizens for the quality of the information. An important task is to determine the optimal conditions of media influence on formation of national consciousness of the citizens of Ukraine as a basis of the consolidation of society, based on the study of the current state of functioning of the local media, the details of the state information policy in modern conditions.
The topical issues of the media influence on the creation in society an appropriate system of ideological and value orientations was discussed, defined directions of activities of public authorities due to ensuring of the full functioning of the media as a factor of national consciousness in the conditions of globalization.
Fresh information about the status and trends of the development of communicative aspect of professional competence of civil servants in Ukraine will contribute to the increasing of the professional development, providing opportunities for establishing of cooperation with organizations, activity of which is the public administration, in order to establish business contacts with them.
In general, the work of the conference was dynamic and facilitated fruitful discussions and exchange of views. Members and guests of the event established a number of business contacts for sharing experience, expanding professional relations and business relations, deepening participation in the European institutions, but also inspiration in research and innovation.
All invited was unanimous that a multilateral exchange of views will certainly give impetus for further research and development of public administration in Ukraine.
Reports of the participants will be placed in the collection of abstracts by the result of the conference.
