On Friday, March 15, 2019, the President of the Assembly, Yevhen Alexandrovich Romanenko, took part in the meeting of the Elite Lights Club on the theme “Higher School, Science and Culture in the Programs of Presidential Candidates”

 

On Friday, March 15, 2019, the President of the Assembly, Yevhen Alexandrovich Romanenko, took part in the meeting of the Elite Lights Club on the theme “Higher School, Science and Culture in the Programs of Presidential Candidates”.
Guest of event was a candidate for President of Ukraine Yulia Volodymyrivna Tymoshenko.
During the event, modern directions of development of the education system in Ukraine were discussed. The participants expressed various proposals for the expansion of Ukraine’s interstate cooperation in the field of education, among which: mutual increase of students’ quota for the exchange for study and internship; attraction of high-level personnel from abroad to important state projects, educational institutions, laboratories; dissemination of electronic innovations and IT innovations while preserving the established national traditions and national identity, etc.
In his speech, Y.A.  Romanenko noted the need to create joint international educational programs and relevant business projects. He also reported on the main aspects of the interdisciplinary efforts of representatives of social and humanitarian knowledge around the solution of theoretical and practical problems of public administration associated with the changes experienced by the common European space.
