The Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Science in Public Administration has co-organized the II International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Decentralization of power and the implementation of reforms in Ukraine, together with leading research institutes. The current state and problems of training for the united territorial communities “, which took place on December 13-14, 2018, in Rivne.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the fundamental-applied and methodological issues of the functioning and development of the united territorial communities in Ukraine.

The program committee of the conference included the leadership of the Assembly: Romanenko Yevgeny Aleksandrovich – President of the Assembly, Parkhomenko-Kutsevil Oksana Igorevna – First Vice-President of the Assembly, Irina V. Chaplain – Executive Director of the Presidium of the Assembly.

At the plenary session, the participants of the conference heard reports that the democratic state always strives to attract the public to the implementation of the functions of the government, in order to optimally meet the diverse needs, interests of people and people in general. That is why decentralization today is defined as one of the means, which contributes to increasing the efficiency of the functioning of power.

After the plenary session, the work of the conference was held in sections:

Section 1. Economic and financial aspects of decentralization in Ukraine.

Section 2. Public administration and legal support for the reform of decentralization, social and labor relations in the process of resolving labor disputes.

Section 3. Decentralization in the conditions of globalization processes: philosophical, cultural-cultural and historical-political studies.

Section 4. Training for decentralization reform: natural resources, information, innovation technologies, logistics.

All the performances of the participants of the event were original, the reports were informative, interesting. Scientists have put a lot of effort to reveal the essence of their research.
