             Ukraine, in the face of  “Interstate Consultants Engineers Guild” (hereinafter – ICEG), which is headed by Nepomnyashchii Alexander Mikhailovich, a member of the Ukrainian Assembly of doctors of science in public administration, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, academician of the Academy of Ukraine, professor of the Dept. of public administrationof the  Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, the first from the post-Soviet states gained representation in the European Federation of Engineering – the consulting Associations (hereinafter – EFCA).

               June 1, 2017, the General Assembly of the EFCA decided about the  adoption of the ICEG to the EFCA. This happened during the annual conference of the EFCA, which these days takes place in Copenhagen (Denmark).

           According to words of the President of ICEG Alexander Nepomnyashchii, representation of ICEG in the activities of the EFCA will significantly simplify the process of establishing horizontal linkages between domestic engineering and consulting companies and European counterparts. This will gain new experience in providing engineering and consulting services and practical application of standard forms of contracts.

          ICEG is a FIDIC Affiliate Member, which represents globally the consulting engineering industry. ICEG is an independent professional association that operates on the principles of voluntariness, self-government, the free choice of the territory, transparency, openness and publicity. It aims to harmonize current market model of engineering and consultancy services in Ukraine with internationally recognized industry standards by consolidating of scientific and technical capacity of Unions’ members and forming the strong expert community, able to effectively adapt in Ukraine the best world practices. In its work ICEG is guided by Articles of Association and current legislation of Ukraine.
