On June 29-30, the IX Theoretical and Methodological Seminar with International Participation and the VI International Young Scientists Competition on “Archetypics and Public Administration: European Space in Imaginary, Real and Ideal Measurements” took place in Montpellier, France.

The organizers of the events were the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, the University of Montpellier 3 of them. Paul Valery, Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration, Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Ukrainian Technological Academy.

To the address of the organizers and participants of the seminar were congratulations from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Parubia Andriy Volodymyrovych, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ukraine Oleg Vladimirovich Shamshur, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Paton Boris Yevgenovych, Vice-rector of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management Romanenko Evgeny Alexandrovich.

The conference was held in the form of plenary and sectional meetings, which were held at a high scientific and theoretical level, in the spirit of discussions with moderate polemics and great interest of both young scientists and student youth.

During the events, the main aspects of the interdisciplinary efforts of the representatives of social and humanitarian knowledge were discussed around the solution of theoretical and practical problems of public administration related to the changes that the common European space is experiencing.

The scientific reports proclaimed at the plenary session raised topical issues of the European public administrative space in the symbolic contexts of individual or collective identity and in the conflict fields of social representations (the reality of the world of work, consumption, the media). The participants also discussed ways of forming and developing the epistemological field of the modern European public administrative culture.

The events were held at a high organizational and scientific level. In connection with the relevance of the issues raised following the results of the conference, a special issue of the Public Management Professional Public Handbook will be published, containing the reports of the IX Theoretical and Methodological Seminar with International Participation” Archetypics and Public Administration: European Space in Imaginary, Real and Ideal Measurements”.
